Internship & Mission Partnership

Internship & Mission Partnership

Interns and Mission Partners are those who join our missionary staff to gain experience in their field or to get missions experience before making a decision about long term service. Their assigned activities and responsibilities vary, depending on the needs of TABRA U at the time. They are always a part of the church work that we do weekly, and particular skill sets or training may influence the area of service. This is an especially good opportunity for new graduates or people who have a heart for mission work, but are unsure if it is a lifelong calling. Interns and Mission Partners live and work among the long-term team, communities and orphans and gain valuable life changing cross-cultural experiences. Any individual wanting to serve alone in either of these categories must be at least 18 years of age to be considered, and these positions are strictly voluntary.

Interns: Individuals serving at TABRA U for 2 months over the summer.

Please specify which job you are applying for when filling out the application. There is no specific curriculum to follow, so each intern must be very self-motivated during their time at TABRA U.

Mission Partners: Individuals or families serving at TABRA U for 3 months up to a year.

If you want to learn more about serving as an intern or Mission Partner, the first step is to download the TABRA U Internship & Mission Partner Handbook AND the TABRA U General Handbook. If you feel that TABRA U would be a good place to use your God-given skills and training, download an application package. The first page of the package gives detailed instructions on how to complete the forms.

The completed package and appropriate application fees ($50 per person or $100.00 for families with more than 3 people), should be mailed to our Head office at: The African Basket Relief Aid Uganda, P.O Box 22392 Kampala Uganda, East Africa or tabrauganda@gmail.com
